Fetch my Debt

Our debt recovery service is a reactive debt management process where our clients choose when to refer their debts to us as a third party. We recommend as soon as possible as this has the best chance of a successful outcome however some clients choose to attempt this 'in-house' in the first instance.

Prior to any debt being actioned by Fetch my Debt we request that our clients complete a debt recovery agreement. This appoints Fetch my Debt Pty Ltd to act on your behalf as a commercial agent for the purpose of recovering specific debts for a period no greater than 365 days for each debt referred to us. It also defines the terms of the agreement and lists any additional costs.

In exchange for a fixed commission rate, agreed in advance, and based on the age of the debt, the size of each individual debt and an ongoing referral of debts, we absorb most costs associated with the issuance of demands and management of payments as follows:

• Demand Issuance includes all stationary, postage, local and std phone call costs associated with issuing demands on our clients behalf
  Note: Clients are responsible for providing current contact information for the debtor, if this is outdated or incorrect we may use additional third party databases to find your debtor
• Management of payments includes all stationary and postage associated with issuing of receipts, reminders and follow ups
• Limited Reporting includes basic reporting to update our clients of the progress made on their portfolio

Where we incur expenses beyond this or where our clients fail to adhere to the upfront agreement we charge our clients on a usage basis, for example:

• International Phone Calls (charged according to the applicable call charges we would incur)
• Skip Tracing (charges associated with any additional searches through third party databases)
• Field Calls (charges associated with arranging for a field agent to issue documents on your behalf or confirmation of occupancy at an address)
• Early Withdrawal fee (All accounts referred to Fetch my Debt that are subsequently withdrawn, settled with the debtor directly or otherwise finalized are subject to Fetch my Debt’s costs, commissions and other fees which are applicable at that time. A minimum administration charge of $50.00 for each debtor prematurely withdrawn is applicable.)
• Administration fee (we provide a data entry portal - where our clients choose not to use this we apply a data entry fee of $10.00 per debtor)

Fetch my Debt can handle the financial 'dirty work' which unfortunately comes as part and parcel of simply doing business. If some customers are not living up to their commitments - we can step in and apply the necessary motivation.
